2200 Miles to Free Oil Change
May 23, 2007 on 11:16 am | In Recent Posts |Today GP0154 passed 8888 miles and according to the computer she’s only 2200 miles away from MINI’s first free oil change under the maintenance plan. GP0154 had here oil changed at 5k miles when she got back from MTTS and again a few weeks back at 8k miles. MINI may find every 10 - 15k mile oil changes acceptable but I prefer every 3-4k miles.

Wow, you drive much harder than me (the distance to service is basically related to mpg) … my first paid for oil change was 12K+

my bad, was 2200 not 1200. I am at 9060 now and indicates 1800 miles to go. If its based on mpg it should be creaping up quicker I think. Driving the 1 mile back and forth to the office really kills my mpg.
