MINIs in the Mountains - Route Planning
July 28, 2007 on 10:27 pm | In MINIS in the Mountain, Recent Posts | 2 CommentsMINIs in the Mountain is only 11 days away so I figured I would start routing my trip from Dallas to Copper Mountain, Colorado. If I do a straight run I am looking at about a 13 hour drive but having never been to Colorado I am figuring on leaving a few days earlier and try to catch some touristy stuff that Nigel, the Bears and I are interested in. It is a pretty packed calendar with lots of stops and activities but everything is rather fluid. May spend more time at some and less on others. GP has fresh oil, is washed, waxed and will be getting new front paws this week.
Achtung… German Invasion!
July 19, 2007 on 6:45 pm | In Recent Posts | 6 CommentsGP came home this evening to find her three adjacent spots occupied by these Germans ladies. As she was pulling back into her #1 spot she overheard them making some remark about her red ears. They did not realize that lil GP is trilingual and we all know how sensitive she is about her red ears. She spewed something in German and then went into a tear in Italian. Not sure what she said but it sure shut them up. Pretty sure that the little time she spent in Italy she did not learn the nice words. Hopefully I won’t have to go down there and break them up tonight.
