Mightier than the MINI?
October 16, 2008 on 9:05 pm | In Recent Posts | 3 CommentsJayne told me about a commercial she saw on the tele of the Suzuki SX4 comparing itself against the MINI and how she found herself yelling at the TV that its claims weren’t so. Funny commercial of the SX4 wearing a Red cape.
I was able to track down the commercial so here you go. I think its the first attempt of another car company taking on MINI directly like this.
Americana Manhasset Concours D’Elegance 2008

Seemed only fitting that we were placed in front of London Jewelers.
Soon after we arrived our friend arrived in his faboulous 2002 Turbo and seems he just picked up a White US Spec CSi.
As usual there were quite the selection of new exotics.

Super Small
And Lil Blue looked rather big next to the Fiat 500.
Angus didn’t make it but Maggie was back and she wasn’t the only one admiring lil blue.
It was another fine event and the weather was just perfect yet again.
