One Year Anniversary
August 18, 2007 on 9:34 pm | In Recent Posts |Today marks the one year anniversary of the GP early delivery program that occurred August 18th, 2006 at the Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races at Laguna Seca Raceway. It was indeed a historic event where GP0154 and 31 of her sisters were delivered to their new proud owners of which several had the opportunity to get autographed by Mike Cooper.
Although GP0154 is currently in Dallas under cover and resting from her recent trip to Minis in the Mountains that did not stop Nigel, the Bears and GP0154s two younger sisters celebrating on her behalf and yes it is true GP1415 made a special and rare appearance breaking out of her Carcoon bubble. Rest assured that GP1415 at NO point came in contact with direct sunlight and she still smells brand new with her 15.8 miles ;).
What better way to celebrate this joyous event but with a special cake and even the Queen came out to help celebrate
GP0154 has had a great first year having covered 11700 miles and drove from Monterey to New York as part of Mini Takes the States back to Dallas and participated in several Metroplex events to Colorado to take part in Minis in the Mountain and back to Dallas. She was even featured in MC2 magazine with her sisters.
Happy Anniversary GP0154 and to all 31 of your sisters!

I’ll guess you didn’t drive GP1415 out of the garage?!
See you tomorrow

She waited in the garage for a bit so her eyes could get aclimated to the daylight and she eventually came out but all of 15 feet when the sun was behind the house into the shade.
